Vikram A Sarabhai Community Science Centre

Vikram A Sarabhai Community Science Centre, fondly known as VASCSC, was established in 1966 by the visionary Indian scientist, Dr. Vikram A Sarabhai. VASCSC stands as a pioneering institution dedicated to fostering scientific thinking and innovative science education. Dr. Sarabhai, widely recognized as the Father of the Indian Space Programme, founded this centre with a vision to cultivate a deeper understanding of fundamental scientific concepts among students, educators, and the general public through engaging inquiry-based methods.

VASCSC's philosophy is to take students, from both school and College, out of the rigid framework of textbooks and encourage them to think, explore, and create.

Over the years, VASCSC has combined formal and non-formal techniques to formulate many innovative methods to give students a better understanding of Science and Mathematics which not only make the process of learning enjoyable but also sustained and long lasting.
