In addition to all of the benefits to volunteers, one of the greatest rewards of volunteering comes from developing a sense of pride in oneself for having helped others; this helps develop a sense of connectedness between the volunteer and his or her community which serves as a positive motivator for volunteers to continue providing assistance to other residents in their communities.

I strongly believe that students would gain the most benefit from the establishment of a volunteer program at our school, so I implore you to explore the possibility of implementing such a program at our school.
