Chipangali is a safe haven for wild animals that have little hope for survival in the wild - creatures that have been orphaned, abandoned, injured, born in captivity, or were former pets.

It is often the last refuge for sick and so-called problem animals. Where possible, we release animals back into safe environments, for example into national parks within Zimbabwe.

If circumstances dictate otherwise, those animals turn into permanent residents and become important ambassadors for their species. Moreover, our permanent residents are critical for the education of the local community. Especially our EPIC Kids Education Program is dedicated to environmental and wildlife education.
